Bank of America recently updated their website for iPhone users. Adding beautiful menus and sliding transitions make the site feel more like a client-side application. They truly did an excellent job.

Before this update, the slick-looking menus and options were limited to their public-facing portion of their mobile site. With this recent update, the enhanced experience stretches into the login only areas of “Accounts”, “Bill Pay & e-Bills”, and “Transfer Funds”.

Here’s a quick run through of all the newly revamped areas of the site with screenshots.

    For two great years, I worked as a teller at a bank in the center of Easthampton right on the circle around the park. I’d cash pay checks for the folks from the Stanley tool works, and walk over to the parking lot of the auto parts store to a get lunch from a guy who sold the best hot dogs and french fries.

    Nice place, Easthampton, just down the mountain from my home town.

    @Tom Shaughnessy – “Good Dawg” – now called “Buns on Wheels” was a good buy.

    @Jacob – Good article – I wish T.D. Banknorth would follow suit..

    Kudos to Bank of America – this will force the other large banks to follow suit – so most people should soon be able to bank via their I-Phones.
